According to the International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) annual review, employment in the renewable sector has grown 18 percent since last year. The report stated that more than 16.2 million people work in the industry. Investment in renewables, specifically solar power, is helping to grow employment around the world.
For example, solar photovoltaics employs about 7.1 million people! That number has leaped from 4.9 million in 2022.
